Day 51/365: Seneca on lifelong learning

Welcome to The Stoic Ledger, a daily money meditation from one of the Stoic sages.
51/365: Seneca on lifelong learning
“As long as you live, keep learning how to live.” – Seneca
There is no arrival, no attainment, no point of finality, no there at which point we can stop the learning pursuit.
We will never have all the intricacies optimized or nobs dialed; there are always more lessons.
That’s precisely Seneca’s point. We must keep going. We must keep learning. We must keep seeking to build upon the mental models and frameworks we hold dear.
This means questioning the existing tenants in our minds. Is this still true? What new strategies, facts, tools, or technologies might I learn?
Complacency is a silent killer. It’s a slow degradation of quality, a slow degradation of life.
