Day 37/365: Seneca on waiting

Welcome to The Stoic Ledger, a daily money meditation from one of the Stoic sages.

37/365: Seneca on waiting

“While we wait for life, life passes.” – Seneca

We spend our lives waiting to have enough money before we start living. We put off experiences, dreams, or even basic enjoyment because deep inside we believe money goals must come first.

But while we wait, time moves forward. And we realize, too late, that wealth alone doesn’t bring fulfillment.

The key is balance—using money responsibly while also making sure it serves a meaningful purpose in the present.

There’s no time to wait. Life doesn’t have a pause button.
