“Take a good hard look at people’s ruling principle, especially of the wise, what they run away from and what they seek out.” – Marcus Aurelius
There’s a lot to learn from watching people.
Marcus tells us here not to listen to what someone says, but look at them, look at them to see their guiding principle.
And as much as we can learn from seeing what they’re doing, we can also learn a great deal from seeing what they avoid.
Watch, study, mimic.
