Day 126/365: Seneca on practicing gratitude

Welcome to The Stoic Ledger, a daily money meditation from one of the Stoic sages.
126/365: Seneca on practicing gratitude
“In all things we should try to make ourselves be as grateful as possible. For gratitude is a good thing for ourselves, in a manner in which justice, commonly held to belong to others, is not. Gratitude pays itself back in large measure.” – Seneca
Expressing gratitude for what we have might be the way to end the thirst for more.
Gratitude is ultimately a filter we wear that shapes how we see the world around us. It is the lens that helps us notice all the good things that we let pass by on our way for more.
Make a list today, what all are you grateful for?
